I found this photo in my office the other day. It shows the Ogdensburg Battery Company, which was located at 209-213 Catherine St. The building was owned by Robert Murray, who resided at 119 Gates St. The Ogdensburg Urban Renewal Agency purchased the building for $30,000 in August of 1973. The photo was taken in 1973 prior to being torn down. #ogdensburghistory #urbanrenewal
Thanks for posting this. The Ogdensburg Battery company was owned by my gr gr uncle, Don Ingalls Chaney for many many years. His brother, Gaylord Turner Chaney married my gr grandmother.
