Ogdensburg History Coffee Hour

Ogdensburg History Coffee Hour is a free public program for adults that will take place on April 13, 2019, at 10 a.m. at the Ogdensburg Public Library to share stories about growing up or working in Ogdensburg or bring an object for show and tell. City Historian and Heuvelton Central School teacher Julie Madlin will be joining participants to talk about Famine Irish immigration to Ogdensburg. She will also share information about the new stops on the “Strolling Down State Street Tour”.

This program is part of a series called Ogdensburg History Coffee Hour which focuses on a people’s history of Ogdensburg, New York. Created by the city historian, this program connects local authors and historians with citizens.

Ogdensburg History Coffee Hour is made possible through the generosity of the Friends of the Ogdensburg Public Library, and the Northern New York Community Foundation.
