Ogdensburg, NY - The Ogdensburg History Museum is excited to announce its upcoming event, "Spill the Beans: A Coffee Hour to Share Memories of Growing Up in Ogdensburg." This free and open event will take place on May 19th from 11:30am to 1pm at the museum located at 206 Ford St.
The Ogdensburg History Museum is dedicated to preserving and sharing the rich history of our beloved city. As part of our mission, we are hosting this coffee hour to provide a space for community members to come together and share their memories of growing up in Ogdensburg.
"We believe that everyone has a story to tell and we want to hear them all," says museum director, Julie Madlin. "This event is a great opportunity for people to connect with each other and reminisce about their childhood in Ogdensburg. We hope to capture these memories and preserve them for future generations to enjoy."
The event will feature complimentary coffee and light refreshments, as well as a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere for attendees to share their stories. The museum will also have a display of photographs and artifacts from Ogdensburg's past to spark memories and conversations.
"We are thrilled to be hosting this event and we encourage everyone to come and join us," says Madlin. "Whether you were born and raised in Ogdensburg or have only recently moved here, we want to hear your stories and experiences. This is a great opportunity to connect with your community and learn more about the history of our city."
