The Ogdensburg History Museum is excited to announce a new children's program that will take place on January 11th at 11:30 am. The program, titled "U.S. Presidents Who Visited Ogdensburg," will be led by retired Kindergarten teacher Nancy Wilson Mashaw and is free and open to the public.
The program will focus on three U.S. Presidents who have visited Ogdensburg - Ulysses S. Grant, James Monroe, and Franklin D. Roosevelt. Participants will have the opportunity to learn about these historic visits through a variety of activities, including a story reading and hands-on projects. The program is designed for children of all ages and will be a fun and educational experience for the whole family.
The program will take place at the Ogdensburg History Museum, located at 206 Ford St. This program is limited to 25 participants. Interested families are encouraged to register early to secure their spot.
Nancy Wilson Mashaw, the leader of the program, is a retired Kindergarten teacher with over 30 years of experience. She is passionate about teaching children and has a special interest in history and its impact on local communities.
